is our motto.
The purpose
of our group is for informal assistance of mostly expats from
different countries who want to (or are wondering about) living,
working, investing, or Exploring, in Panama.
Expat Explorers! is a fun and curious group of expats, made up of both visitors and
those already living here. It is a group formed to facilitate
getting to know each other as well as to explore the country of
Panama, including its businesses, services, and options together rather than on our own. Basically
it is for those who want to meet, live, laugh, and learn more
often than the once-a-month of the Socials. The Expat Explorers!
have smaller group outings uniquely designed to allow us to explore
different areas of Panama in fun ways without having to be tourism or
business benefit based. We have put together fun events, like
the "Treasure on Taboga" - an energetic and fun Pirate Party/Treasure
Hunt; learning excursions, such as the Furniture & Decor Tours
(where we explore several stores as a small group, and report back to
each other). We even have the occasional party, like the
Roof Top Martini Party; yet, because we are all Expats In Panama, we
do all these things with like minded individuals we are already
comfortable with .... and, just for a break ....without a
language barrier. We always offer an open invitation for any new
expats having interest in the topic of the event/outing.
We have 4 or 5 events each month - join in only
the ones that interest you! If you are intending on visiting Panama,
be sure to check the

& write in if you want to join in on any event!
How Can You Join?
Everyone is welcome to attend and/or be put on
the email notification list. Notification of each Expat
Happy Hour Social's monthly location is sent out
to our mailing list approximately one week before the event.
Notification of Expat Explorers Events are sent out bi-weekly, or
as an update is required. Of course, one must be registered to receive
this notice, (see blue section to the right) however the information
for both will soon be available on this website for those just finding out
about us. |

There is no membership fee to be
part of our Invitation Lists. We started in August of 2004 with
just 22 members, but as of November 2008, we have over 1600
members, and the list grows almost daily!
If you would like to
be notified in regards to the upcoming
Expat Explorers Events,
please email
us including a little info about yourself. We are
a socializing group, so would
appreciate receiving your first name and what country
you are originally from. Please send your email to:
expatexplorers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
Once we receive a request from the actual email address* to be added, it is only a matter of one click and
the requesting party is added.
*Please don't email us
using one address, but asking to add a different one. We require proof the email address
being added is
actually yours. The only way for us to know the request
is real for that address is for you to contact us by using
it.

Panama City & area Expat
Happy Hour Socials are held the
second Monday of every month at different restaurants in the city of
Panama (unless the second Monday falls on a Panamanian Holiday -
at which time the date & day change notice is sent out to
all registered). This varies from month to month as we continue to look
for restaurants large and reputable enough to handle our growing
numbers. Locations are posted on this website as soon as
confirmations are completed.
